The Sports Car Club of America is the largest and longest-running organization in the US that is dedicated solely to automobile enthusiasts, the cars they drive and the activities in which they participate. Founded in 1944, at the close of the war, the club currently has about 60,000 members.

While SCCA is a national organization, club members have the opportunity to participate locally in events held by their 115 regions at venues ranging from pro tracks to national forests, encompassing everything in between, from coast to coast. The club sanctions and supports both professional and amateur automotive events in disciplines as diverse as road racing, solo (autocross), Track Events, Rally and Rallycross. Diversity continues in the activities of the membership. Of course we have drivers but we have workers in specialties that manage all aspects of the competition.
